NB:

*The chords given above for the intro are used.
However, there is an additional F# note used
throughout the intro. This is more appropriate
for piano, but if desired, a guitar "arrangement"
of this intro, which includes the extra F# notes,
has been written (see tab below). Playing just the
chords written above with or instead of this
   arrangement is fine.

    G                        G/F#

    C/E                      D
       ^     ^     ^     ^      ^     ^     ^     ^
E---3--2--3--2--3--2--3--2---3--2--3--2--3--2--3--2----------
B---1--X--1--X--1--X--1--X---3--X--3--X--3--X--3--X------
G---0--X--0--X--0--X--0--X---2--X--2--X--2--X--2--X------
D---2--X--2--X--2--X--2--X---0--X--0--X--0--X--0--X------
A--(3)-X-(3)-X-(3)-X-(3)-X---X--X--X--X--X--X--X--X----
E--(0)-X--X--X--X--X--X--X---X--X--X--X--X--X--X--X---

Tab notes:
-Chords are indicated above the tablature.
-The symbol "^" above each line of tablature indicates where
the extra F# notes occur during that chord.
-Numbers in parentheses indicate notes that are optional;
the notes don't have to be played, but playing them fills
out the sound of the chord more, if desired. (If these
extra notes aren't played, that string is not played at all).
-'X' indicates a string not to be played.
-Each chord is to be played, and then held (ie. allowed to
sound) while the extra F# note is played over the top of it.
-The D chord with the extra G note here forms a Dsus4 chord.
-The way that G/F# is written in the tablature may sound a
little harsh. This can be improved by only allowing the F#
bass to be heard briefly. It's worth experimenting to find
 the sound you prefer.

**Chords written such as G/F#, etc indicate the
chord to be played, followed by the accompanying
bass note (in this case, a G chord with an F# bass
note). Generally, the extra bass note doesn't have
to be played, and the chord can be played on its
own. However, specifically, the G/F# chord should
be played with the bass note in this case, if
possible, to vary the sound. If desired, a Bm/F#
    could be substituted for G/F#.

***For the discordant, jumbled musical ending, the
beginning of which is indicated by '***', the
chords are barely audible, but still seem to occur
in the background, and can be played.

****[G!] indicates the final, brief 'G' note at
the end (played on the bass 'E' string, third
    fret).
